Hello from the land of ice and snow!

Ok, just kidding!

I live in the Pacific Northwest, and it has been a very

long, chilly, dull, windy, rainy, snowy winter so far -

and this is only January (2007)!

I am working on a rhyming poem...

I have come up with a couple of different "starts"

to the poem - but not much more!

I thought I would share these, and a recent photo, with you!

Here goes!

This is the land of ice and snow,

It's snowing now,

No place to go.

I'd like to go outside and see,

But no one wants to, only me!

This is the land of ice and snow

Inside the house I watch it blow.

I want to go outside, you see,

Even if it's only me

Out there in all that fluffy stuff.

I think I'm really tough enough!

I'm stuck inside

No place to go!
